Details
All editorial services include line editing, as well as developmental editing. Line editing refers to detailed edits regarding grammar, word choice, and sentence structure. Developmental editing refers to big picture comments regarding the general direction of the piece. Depending on the nature of your piece, this might include comments on tone, structure, pacing, character development, artistic choices, the clarity of your content, and so on.
We do not offer free sample edits. However, if you would like to get a feel of the editor’s style before committing to a large payment, you can start by submitting a short sample of your work.
Terms and Conditions
Full payment to be made upfront for invoices below $150. For invoices that are $150 and above, you can make 50% payment upfront and 50% payment at the midpoint of the editing process.
Within one week of payment, you will be sent a receipt of proof that your donation has been sent to the Singapore Red Cross.
The average turnaround time is 30-60 days, with longer times expected for longer manuscripts, e.g. full-length novels. Expedited responses are available at an additional charge.
