Open Sessions are a loosely structured space where you show up and write in a small group setting.

Each session begins with short introductions before we break for 2.5 hours of writing. We’ll come back together at the end for a round of group sharing.

There are no required readings.

You may use the space for your own writing projects, or respond to the exercises that will be provided on the day itself.

The goal is to help you write without interruption and feel supported in your writing journey.

Sessions are open to writers of poetry, prose, plays and creative nonfiction. Anyone is welcome regardless of experience level.

Dates: 22nd and 29th May, 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th June, 3rd, 10th, 24th and 31st July 2026
Time: 6pm - 9pm* on Fridays
Location: casual poet library, 123 Bukit Merah Lane 1, #01-110, S150123

8 slots available per session.

Recommended for ages 18 and up.

*Drop-in anytime, but do aim to reach before 7.30pm to avoid disrupting others who may be in the flow.

Cost

Single Session - SGD 16 per session
Four Sessions - SGD 14 per session
Eight Sessions - SGD 12 per session

Kindly book in your sessions ASAP so as to reserve your slot. We cannot offer refunds if sessions are fully booked before you are able to use up your package.
